For more than five decades, Chris Davenport has been creating art that delights the eye and lifts the spirit. Her whimsical, color-rich designs reflect a lifelong love of making things by hand — art that feels joyful, expressive, and warmly personal.
Chris began her creative journey in the 1960s, crafting handmade “Feeling Groovy” jewelry to help fund her education at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. What started as a small venture blossomed into a vibrant artistic career that has spanned illustration, needlework design, licensed giftware, and fine art painting. Along the way, her work appeared in national publications and was licensed for puzzles, stationery, home décor, embroidery kits, greeting cards, and more.
Her beloved LOVE ’N STUFF brand captured the playful spirit that defines her style; cheerful imagery, thoughtful detail, and art made to bring a smile. Today, Chris continues to create and share her work through original paintings, curated collections, and select designs available online.
